Book Review Editor, Journal of Contemporary Archival Studies (JCAS), July 2024-June 2027
JCAS is a peer-reviewed journal sponsored by Yale University and New England Archivists. As Book Review Editor, I manage the publication workflow for book reviews, which includes selecting books for review, selecting and communicating with reviewers, identifying peer reviewers for book reviews, and providing guidance and feedback to reviewers throughout the workflow.

Identify professional development needs of NEA members and facilitate educational offerings for the membership. As Chair, I create monthly meeting agendas and minutes, facilitate event scheduling for the year, identify workshop and webinar instructors, compile information for event registration and promotion, and serve as moderator or day-of point person for events as needed. Additional duties include onboarding and offboarding members, maintaining and updating Committee documentation, and attending quarterly NEA Executive Board meetings. I served as the Education Committee liaison for the 2025 and 2026 NEA Spring Meeting Program Committees.
Mentor, Mentoring Circle Program, January 2024 – July 2024
Participated as a co-mentor of a group of mentees. Created monthly meeting agendas, compiled resources for mentees, and invited guest speakers for meetings.
Contingent Employment Study II Task Force, Member, November 2020 – June 2023
Contingent Employment Study II Task Force organized by the New England Archivists’ Inclusion and Diversity Committee. Activities include developing and designing a survey for contingent archival workers, compiling data points from archival job postings, analyzing survey results and job posting data, and presenting a report of survey results and analysis to the NEA Board. Report submitted to the NEA Executive Board, February 2022.
Upon completion of the report for the NEA Board, members presented on survey findings at various professional conferences throughout 2022 and began work on a journal article to present and analyze survey findings for a wider audience. An article analyzing the findings was published in American Archivist, Spring 2024 [article available here].
